Privacy Policy
Kadenz (“Kadenz”, “we”, “us”) is a subscription-tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect
We only collect what the app needs to work:
- Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account. Authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk.
- Your subscription data — the subscriptions you add (name, price, currency, billing cycle, next renewal date, category, reminder settings), stored so it syncs across your devices.
- Purchase status — whether you have an active Kadenz Pro entitlement. Payments are processed by the app store; we receive only your entitlement status, never your card details.
We do not collect or access your bank accounts, card numbers, transaction history, contacts, photos, or precise location. We do not show ads and we do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To provide the core app: showing your subscriptions, totals, and reminders.
- To sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
- To convert amounts between currencies (we fetch daily exchange rates from a third-party source; no personal data is sent to obtain them).
- To send you the local renewal reminders you enable (scheduled on your device; the content is not sent to us).
- To determine whether Pro features are unlocked.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with providers that run the app:
- Clerk — authentication (name, email, session).
- Supabase — secure database that stores your subscription data, protected by row-level security so only you can access your rows.
- RevenueCat & the app store — purchases and entitlement status.
We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual subscriptions in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact and we will remove it.
Security
Your subscription data is protected by database row-level security tied to your account, so one user can never read another’s data. Communication with our servers is encrypted in transit.
Children
Kadenz is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
